Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM KOWALSKI "BILL" With his family at his side, William "Bill" Kowalski passed away peacefully at the Portage District General Hospital on Friday, May 17, 2002 at the age of 84 years. Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife Irvine; son Les (Hilary) daughters, Hazel Dyrland, Rose Barnett, Phyllis (Barry) Hay and Gladys (Rod) MacInnes along with 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his first wife Rose; son Brent and son-in-law Barry Dyrland. In keeping with Bill and Irvines wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 23 at 1:30 p.m. at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel, 56 Royal Road S., Portage la Prairie, with The Rev. Norman Collier. A tree will be planted and cared for in memory of Bill by McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel who are entrusted with the arrangements. 857-4021.
